The Bikeability scheme is the National Standard for cycling which aims to encourage more children to cycle. The course is designed to equip cyclists with the knowledge, skill and on-road experience to make a journey safely and confidently by bike on local roads.
Pupils in Years 5 and 6 are given the opportunity to take part in the training provided by Outspoken Training! (funded by Cambridgeshire County Council).
It is run by qualified, professional, DBS checked instructors all of whom have a passion for cycling. The instructors pass on their enthusiasm to ensure that all trainees have an enjoyable experience whilst learning valuable new skills and gaining confidence.
