The structure of The Governing Body of Robert Arkenstall Primary school consists of:

  • The Curriculum and Standards Committee
  • The Finance and Personnel Committee
  • The Strategic Planning Group.

Each committee meets to discuss business prior to a full governing body meeting and the chairs of the committees meet at Strategic Planning to ensure all activity is co-ordinated and committees can work effectively towards the key goals.

Jo Habbin

Elected Parent Governor, elected November 2022

I became a parent governor in November 2022 and I am a member of the curriculum committee. I live in Haddenham with my husband and children and have lived in Haddenham most of my life. I attended Robert Arkenstall Primary School myself and I have two children that attend the school currently. I trained in Early Years at college and then went onto gain my Degree in Early Years. I am a manager of a day nursery and have worked at the setting since I was 17 years old.

Robert Manchett

Elected Parent Governor, elected November 2022

I volunteered to join because our 3 children have either been to Robert Arkenstall or are currently attending. We have lived in the local area for over 15 years recently moving from Wilburton to Haddenham. I am one of four directors that run a local family business that has been trading for over 65 years. I believe that this experience will hopefully transfer and support the governors as well as the staff and students of Robert Arkenstall.
