We asked the children if they could visualise for us the reality of the motto pursue possibilities; love learning for them at school. We conducted research with each class to ask them to identify a memory or experience which encapsulated the motto for them. The responses were extremely encouraging and showed us the value the children place on a broad range of aspects of community life here at Robert Arkenstall. It was very clear that the frequently active and often outdoor learning experiences are at the heart of children’s happiest and richest experiences here. Read the research paper to find out what they told us.
As we continually develop our rich curriculum, our learning environment and seek opportunities to connect children to the wider issues, people and places of our world, we hold all we do to the vision to ensure we are clear and focussed on offering the best possible start to lifelong learning.
