Over the course of the week, pupils and staff have really got into the spirit of all things book and reading related.

We have had volunteers popping in to read their favourite books with the children; trips to the local library to enjoy arts and crafts activities and listen to stories and poetry; a jolly quiz in the hall; and as always lots and lots of dressing up fun to celebrate all manner of bright and colourful book characters. 

The theme of this year's World Book Day is 'you are a reader!' Let's hope all
the excitement of this week has further ignited our pupils love of books
and reading...
