Lots of fun at the Summer Fayre!

The weather was on our side again as the day of the Summer Fayre dawned.  Sunny and warm with a bit of a breeze - ideal!  Lots of hard work went on by FORAS members all day as they prepared for the Fayre.  Candy was flossed, BBQ prepared, face paints sorted, plants watered, balloons blown, tables and chairs shifted, bottles bagged.......    numerous tasks undertaken! Phew!

3.20pm - school finished and the Fayre opened.

Most children went out and straight back in to the Fayre, pocket money in hand.  Plenty of bargains to be had!  The Teddy Bear raffle was a great favourite as usual, the BBQ got very busy and the Bouncy Castle was a definite hit!

Tombola tickets were bought, bids made on some amazing prizes, lovely flowers sold, lots of faces painted and balloons burst for prizes!

Adults and children skipped, stacked cups, bought jewellery, ate burgers and hot dogs and chatted and had fun in the sun.  Some excellent displays of gymnastics took place on the field. Well done!

The staff also enjoyed themselves whilst working hard on some of the stalls!

It was a very enjoyable afternoon for everyone.  A huge 'Thank You' to everyone who helped to set up, run the event and clear up afterwards and to all those who donated items and prizes. Another big 'Thank You' to everyone who came and supported the event and spent their money to help raise funds for the school and the children.
